We love benidorm too. Been loads of times. Favourite place to stay is Terralta appartments but this time ( july ) we are staying at Oasis PLaza in the old town. All the family coming 23 of us. Looking forward to it lots cant wait yiiipppeeeeeee...........................

we stayed in the magic rock and regardless of death hill we were very disappointed with this hotel - we like to do AI in benidorm for the fun of it but if we go back i want to stay the other end to this hotel - can never remember what that part is called but it is where all the shops in the windy street are lol

I am going to Benidorm for the first time on wednesday.I cant wait !!!
We are on half board but like to eat out as well.
Does anyone have any reccomendations for places to eat or nights out ?
we are at the poniente end.

Hi there,

I stayed at the Poniente end although we were Half Board so didn't eat out. Although we did have a few snacks at ''The Time, The Place'' which was traditional English food (although there are tons of British eateries) There is a lovely cove which is beautiful at night watching the sun go down. I prefer that end of Benidorm as it's much nicer. The buses cost 1 euro wherever you go, unless that's changed since I was last there. We often took a bus into the town which had lots of great shops. Terra Mitica is worth a visit along with Terra Natura which is the zoo/waterpark. You can also get a chance to swim with the sharks here. For nights out, we spent alot of time at a triangle of pubs which were all owned by the same company, I think one was called ''The White Horse''. You can go between these 3/4 pubs with your drinks. In the basement of these pubs are entertainment for kids/teens. I hope you have a fab time and can update us how you found Benidorm.

you will be spoilt for choice where to eat.
if you dont mind pub food,try o'maras irish bar in the old town or sherry's on the square both good homemade british food.
but i do like spanish food and there are plenty of tapas bars around poniente as it is more traditional than the new town.

I went to Benidorm with my son, my friend and her son in July/Aug 2006. Our kids were both 13 at the time. We had a fab time. We stayed at the Gran Hotel Bali which was at Poinente beach in La Cala. (The huge hotel with around 53 floors) This beach was much nicer and there is a little cove which was gorgeous at night to sit and watch the sun go down with a drink. I preferred to stay here instead of the heart of Benidorm as it was quieter. So much to do at Benidorm for everyone. The added bonus was the Terra Mitica theme park which was 5/10 minutes away on the bus from out hotel. I'd definetely go back.
